Food was great. Waitress was very accommodating as one of our party had celiacs. Very knowledgeable made some great suggestions. Food was good and prices were reasonable. Would definitely return when in the area.

Bernie's is one of my favorite restaurants in Corolla. Whenever my family and I come to town, we always come here at least twice. There is so many options for everyone and their Fish and Chips is the best I've ever had. The employees are kind and attentive plus the atmosphere is inviting. 2025 Update: Honestly, this is really the only dinner restaurant that we love coming too. The food is amazing, the staff is incredibly attentive and caring, plus the atmosphere is wonderful. It's the kind of beach place you want and are looking for when you come. I don't think there's anything on this menu that we've gotten that hasn't been good. We keep coming back and you should too!

My family had very eclectic taste and allergy concerns on the day of our visit. Every member thought the food was delicious! We had a slight wait (35 mins) and took outside seating. We were very comfortable.

Great spot in Carolla. Food was excellent and service was top notch. It gets very crowded in the evening and long wait times, but there is a large bar area to have a few drinks while waiting. Bartender was very efficient, we never had an empty glass. Had fish tacos which were very fresh. Staff was great and we had a good time. There was a table full of Karen’s that were jealous of our group having a good time. Couldn’t imagine being with those boring people. Will return every year!

We had nearly 50 family members arriving at various times while waiting for our rental home to be available. They did an unbelievable job of coordinating and ultimately moving us around upstairs. We had elderly, young kids, and the craziness of seeing each other for the first time in two years. We did our best to be respectful, but they handled all of it with class and grace. They casually elevated the chaotic impromptu experience to feel almost like a planned event. Thank you to the entire staff and management for your welcoming hospitality and understanding. Food and drinks were wonderful as well!

Went twice during our week in OBX and enjoyed it both times. Service was good and food was delicious. We are a party of 6 and tried a lot of the menu over our two visits and we all enjoyed our food both visits. A highlight was the appetizer tuna poke bowl. Impressed with the amount of fresh tuna in the bowl for the price. At home they give me about 1/3 as much for a higher price. Fish and chips, Brazilian steak, Pad Thai and Mac n cheese (appetizer) were also highlights. Can’t go wrong with the salted caramel cheesecake for dessert!

I really like the experience. I had the pub style fish and waffle fries. My wife had the crispy chicken on a salad. My sister got a salad, too. I don't know what kind she got, but it had black beans. We were all extremely satisfied with what we all ordered. Had a spicy, bloody Mary and it was great! Bought a couple of t-shirts too. Great experience for sure.
